Last Saturday (April 28, 2018), Huawei officially launched their new P20 Series smartphones. The P20, P20 Pro and P20 Lite versions are now available for purchase at your nearest Huawei concept and retail stores.

Hosted by ABS-CBN's Janina Chan, the program started at 12:30 PM with George Li (Country Head/Huawei Philippines) presenting a brief history of Huawei's journey. Clement Wong (Head of Global Marketing) shared the progress and evolution of the P-series smartphones beginning with the Huawei P8. Quick comparisons and key differences from the P-Series' market competitors showed how Huawei wanted to be different. Aiming for the best in terms of mobile photography and incorporating "REAL AI".
The new Huawei P20 Series flagships now have 19 scenes recognized by the new "MASTER AI". This Master AI helps choose the best setting to use for the situation that you are in. From bright green plants to the details of flowers and the clear blue sky, all you have to do is point and shoot.
Former Miss Universe Queen Pia Wurtzbach was also present in the event as she is also Huawei's brand Ambassadress. She personally uses Huawei phones as she is really impressed with what she can achieve with the camera. For non-professionals, having a phone that you can point and shoot at anything makes things a lot easier.
Manila Bulletin's Mr. Art Samaniego also presented the newspaper's front page which featured a shot of Manila at night with no tripods using the new P20 Pro. They were really impressed with how their photos came out as this is not commonly used and done especially for print. The same goes for METRO Magazine's cover and issue featuring Pia W. with the use of the Huawei P20 Pro as well.
Early adopters and those who pre-ordered their phones had their phones unboxed during the event. Canon Selphy printers were given to the flagship users and a gift box with water bottle/telescope and bluetooth speakers were given to P20 Lite users. Majority of those who pre-ordered their P20 Pro in Twilight got them. There were also those present to trade-in their phones.
