Samsung Still First - Huawei Overtakes Apple for Q2 2018

IDC shares the latest update in their smartphone rankings for Q2 of 2018.
Samsung stays at the top despite a decline in smartphone sales and shipments. Huawei now jumps from 3rd place and overtakes Apple as they take 2nd place with their increase in sales/shipments. They are joined by Xiaomi taking up 4th place and has surpassed Samsung in India, and Oppo which according to IDC experienced a slow down in sales in key markets including Southeast Asia.
